Commodore Weskerna joined the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary in December of 2002. He is also a cerified Aid to Navigation Verifier, Assistant Harbor Specialist, Boat Crew and Coxswain, Marine Safety Administrative & Mangement Specialist, Recreational Boating Safety Vistior, Uninspected Passenger Vessel Examiner, Uninspected Towing Vessel Examiner and Vessel Examiner.
